Saturday was one of the most exciting hockey games I've been to. The teams were evenly matched; the crowd was into it; we had good seats; and the teams were scrapping. Rainy golf at Chateau Elan's Chateau course at Sat, 12/20. Philip Gilbert has good form. Needs to get his lower body and legs into it - but the form, knowledge and concentration is there.

Riding the bus

I started riding the GAXPRESS bus from Cumming to downtown ATL a couple of times a week. The bus stop is about six miles from my house on the back roads. The bus stop from my work is about a mile. So, I'm forced to get exercise; keep to an early morning/early leave schedule; don't have to be in traffic; can chill on the bus; work pays for 10 rides a month; and my ride is shorter (the bus can travel in the emergency lane if traffic gets backed up).

So, I'm digging it. We'll see how it goes. I'm always switching up my commute.

End of the season

Went to the TOUR Championship today with the kids. Saw most of the golfers come through the par-three No. 2. Anthony Kim sunk a putt for birdie, while Ernie Els put it in from the front bunker. The kids wanted to get auotgraphs, so we did. Ten of the thirty golfers signed Savannah's hat. Came home and watched the ending on television. An end-of-round pile up with Camillo, Sergio and Phil. What a great end to the season.

This place is good

Macon, GA - it is in a suburban strip mall - not an old wooden shack - but man - trust me - it is good.
