More Car Tags Spotted In Traffic

Here are some more vanity license plate tags I've seen:
  • c21 vp - on a Mercedes SL500. I guess they are a Century 21 Realtor VP? I'll avoid them.
  • friends - on an older Mercedes. How nice. I'd like to know them.
  • NBA24 - I saw this on a Cadillac Escalade. Could it have been this guy :: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/nba/players/3928/ cruising around Atlanta?
  • mr bob - Spotted on a Lexus. Sounds creepy to me.
  • mel atl - On a Mitsubishi Galant. It rhymes, I suppose. I know lots of Atlanta Mels. Don't need to meet another.
  • macmamma - On a Ford Explorer. Does she like the computer or the food? Either way, I'll avoid.
  • Diva 1 - I didn't get the car type, but, man, I'd love to cut this person off and see what happens. Although, I assume they don't care about being late or not.
  • Ang1 - On an Audi. I don't get this one. Is someone extolling the virtues of Angiopeietin 1, a type of angiopoietin encoded by the gene ANGPT1? (which has an important role in vascular development? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANGPT1)
  • Pb writr - On a Honda Accord. Hmmmm. What does PB mean? Prison Break? Peanut Butter? Piple Bomb? You decide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pb. Either way, I like writers.
  • Q45t - On an Infiniti Q45. Most unoriginal. I'll pass.
  • Fly - Didn't get the car type. Let me guess - a pilot?
  • Extreme2 - On a stretch limo. OK. Cheesy. Is it the 80s?
  • Beleevr - On a Nissan Sentra. I don't think they are going to get into a wreck. Just a thought. I have faith they won't.
  • Tn vol - On a Ford Cobra Mustang. Hey, I'm a BllDG FN. So, I don't like them.
  • Cit1 - On a Lexus. Don't get it.
  • Wolfdog - On a Toyota Camry. This is an odd one. Still, I wouldn't mess with them.
  • Nectarz - On a Kai. Maybe it's a hip-hop group? Or maybe they are selling "Nectarz," the first high-end mixer specially designed for Ultra-premium spirits? http://www.prandcompany.com/clients/cs_nectarz.html Either way, I'll party with them.
  • my hot z - On a - you guessed - a convertible Nissan Z. http://www.nissanusa.com/z/. Cool car, cheezy plates.

License Plates - Found Art

I've always liked found art - just stumbling upon the ridiculousness of this word and displaying it out-of-context to expose it for what it really is.

In that vein, I enjoy spotting customized license plates. Ones I've seen recently are:

1. friends (on an older model Mercedes :: how nice)

2. nba 24 (on a Caddy Escalade :: I wonder if it was this guy :: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/marvin_williams/index.html?nav=page)

3. c21 vp (on a new Mercedes-Benz SL500 – I suppose they work for Century 21 :: good for them)
